How can it be that you’ve forgotten something that made me feel like the most loved person in the world? It may have felt natural to you, but I am eternally grateful for those people who changed my life in that little sliver of time.

I remember writing, “Friends are God’s way of apologizing for family.” It seems crazy now, but I meant it at the time. I had the best ones.

The funny thing is that God continues to surround me with beautiful, wonderful people that I don’t deserve. I ruin their lives as they continue to make me laugh, keep me on a straight path, & love me unconditionally. I really don’t know how it could get better than the last sixteen years.
